These legendary creatures are some of the toughest to beat in the game, but they’re also some of the best attackers. Of course, that means you need to have the best attackers against them as well. Feraligatr – Waterfall and Hydro Cannon
Gyarados – Waterfall and Hydro Pump
Roserade – Razor Leaf and Solar Beam
Venusaur – Vine Whip and Frenzy Plant
Alolan Exeggutor – Bullet Seed and Solar Beam
Mewtwo – Confusion and Ice Beam

There are two things to note when choosing your attackers against Groudon. First is what attacks he will be using against you. While some counters are best overall, if they get wiped out with one charge attack, they won’t be dealing much of that potential damage. Unfortunately, figuring this out requires some extra work and a bit of guessing. You can usually tell what attack he’ll be using against you by loading into a raid and seeing what the game chose. Still, it shouldn’t change too much of what you choose, just keep it in mind if you get wiped out too quickly.

The other thing is the weather. If the weather is clear/sunny then it boosts grass attacks, and you will want to load your team with Roserade, Venusaur, and Alolan Exeggutor. If it is raining then water types will be boosted, so keep your Kyogre, Feraligatr, and Gyarados in there.
