But, finding out what the best strategy is in this kind of a situation can be difficult, so let’s get into the details of who you need to have on your team, as well as the best moves to teach your Pokemon to ensure that you emerge victoriously!

Who Are The Best Pokemon To Bring To The Master League?

You’ll be able to participate in the Master League from May 17th at 3:00 pm CDT until May 24th at 3:00 pm CDT. What makes this event so exciting compared to other cups in the series is that there is No Maximum CP Limit, meaning that you’ll be able to bring your most powerful Pokemon to the table, and see what you’ll be able to make happen.

You’ll be able to find a large list of Pokemon that are the best Attackers and their movesets here, but let’s get into the details of who you should bring onto your team.

Team One:

  • Ho-Oh
    • Incinerate – Fast Move
    • Brave Bird or Sacred Fire – Charged Move
  • Mewtwo
    • Psycho Cut – Fast Move
    • Psystrike or Ice Beam – Charged Move
  • Mamoswine
    • Powder Snow – Fast Move
    • Avalanche or Bulldoze – Charged Move

You’ll have all of your bases covered with this team, making sure that you have power up front, and a great closer to boot. Since Mewtwo claimed a spot on our best Attackers list, you’ll find a powerful middle ground, with a Pokemon that should be able to bring down just about anyone.

Team Two:

  • Melmetal
    • Thundershock – Fast Move
    • Superpower or Rockslide – Charged Move
  • Lugia
    • Dragon Tail – Fast Move
    • Sky Attack or Aeroblast – Charged Move
  • Raikou
    • Volt Switch – Fast Move
    • Wild Charge or Shadow Ball – Charged Move

Since there are a few different Flying-type legendary Pokemon, starting this one off with someone who is Electric-type should help you keep the pace going in your direction right from the beginning. Melmetal is also a tank, capable of taking a large amount of damage before succumbing, so you’ll be ready to switch out whenever needed to take down the rest of their team.

Team Three:

  • Kyogre
    • Waterfall – Fast Move
    • Hydro Pump or Surf – Charged Move
  • Dialga
    • Metal Claw – Fast Move
    • Draco Meteor or Iron Head – Charged Move
  • Togekiss
    • Charm – Fast Move
    • Dazzling Gleam or Aerial Ace – Charged Move

The final team for this list is going to be another that brings the best of both worlds to the field, allowing many players to take on just about anything with them. You’ll find your closer to be your saving grace here, as Togekiss is huge in the meta for being unstoppable at times. You should be able to rain justice down on your foes with this team setup.

And there we have it, three great team choices to go into the Master League with. Make sure that you’ve been practicing your battle skills, and get in there to bring your opponents down!
