Pokémon GO has officially entered into the Halloween territory with the latest event to grace the game named ‘Halloween Mischief’ which allows players to catch themed Pokemon with extra rewards all of which are to be gained through completing specific challenges. There is something for everyone with this event and it is an excellent starting point for the spooky season this October. The guide will list all of the challenges for you and what you will earn, along with how to catch Halloween Mischief Pikachu, Piplup, and Drifblim in this Pokemon GO Halloween event.

How to Catch Halloween Mischief Pikachu, Piplup, and Drifblim

In order to catch Halloween Mischief Pikachu, or Halloween Piplup simply catch 5 ghost-type Pokémon and you will get a chance for an encounter of either Pokémon, just be sure to try and catch the Pokémon when they appear. This page will showcase to you a full list of all of the ghost-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO.

On the other hand, to catch Drifblim, catch 15 ghost-type Pokémon and you will get an encounter with them.

All of the Challenges and Rewards for the Halloween Mischief Pokemon Go Event

Completing specific challenges throughout the event that is now running until the 22nd of October will net you specific rewards. Along with this, the Pokémon GO event ensures that all candy obtained from catching, hatching, and transferring has doubled in value for players across the game world. The list below showcases how to catch the three Pokemon aforementioned along with all the other challenges and rewards, here are the full details:

  • Catch 5 ghost-type Pokémon — A Halloween hat Pikachu or Halloween Piplup encounter
  • Catch 15 ghost-type Pokémon — Drifblim encounter
  • Catch 25 ghost-type Pokémon — Galarian Yamask encounter
  • Catch 9 Pokémon — Drowzee or Gothita encounter
  • Make 3 curveball throws — The Spinarak encounter
  • Send 3 gifts — Zubat or Woobat encounter
  • Spin 3 Poké Stops or gyms — Another Spinarak encounter
  • Spin 7 Poké Stops or gyms — 1 Rare Candy
