If you want to get the starters in Pokémon Let’s Go you’re going to need to do some specific activities in the game.  You can get Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle pretty early on in Pokémon Let’s Go, but you’re going to need to know what to do.  There are multiple ways to get starters in Pokémon Let’s Go you can be gifted them for completing certain objectives or you can find them in the wild.  Just follow the guide below and you’ll have the starter Pokémon in no time.

How to get Bulbasaur

You can get Bulbasaur in a couple of different ways.  You can get a free Bulbasaur gifted to you in Cerulean City.  What you’ll need to have done is captured 30 different types of Pokémon to receive the gift.  To get the gift you need to go to the house next to the Pokémon Center.

You can also catch a wild Bulbasaur in the Viridian Forest.

How to get Charmander

In the northwest section of Route 24 near Cerulean City there is an NPC character that you can meet that will give you a Charmander.  To get Charmander you will need to have captured 50 Pokémon when you talk to them.

You can also catch a Wild Charmander can be caught in the Rock Tunnel

How to get Squirtle

In Vermilion City you can get Squirtle by talking to Officer Jenny after having captured 60 types of Pokémon.  She will give you a Squirtle once you’ve done so.

You can also capture a Wild Squirtle by searching around Route 25.
