Pokemon Let’s Go How to Mega Evolve

Recommended Videos

In Pokemon Let’s Go some Pokemon can Mega Evolve.  This state is the final stage of evolution that some Pokemon can do during a battle.  Mega Evolutions can occur one time during a battle and will give Pokemon a final state that is their most powerful form.   In order to Mega Evolve in Pokemon Let’s Go you’ll need to use a Pokemon that can actually do it because not all Pokemon can. The list of Pokemon below are all Pokemon that have Mega Evolutions.

Pokemon with Mega Evolutions

  • Aerodactyl
  • Alakakazam
  • Beedril
  • Blastoise
  • Charizard
  • Gengar
  • Gyarados
  • Kangaskhan
  • Mewtwo
  • Pidgeot
  • Pinsir
  • Slowbro
  • Venusaur

In order to Mega Evolve with the Pokemon listed above you will need to find Mega Stones for each one.  This actually only opens up for the player after they’ve reached the Viridian City gym.  Once you do you will need to speak with Professor Oak in Pallet Town who will give you a key stone as well as Mega Evolution Stones for Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur.  Progressing further into the game you can unlock more stones by beating the Elite Four and then visiting a vendor in the lobby of the Indigo Plateu.  These stones can be purchased for 30,000 Poke Dollars a piece.  You can also get Mega Evolution Stones for Mewtwo as well in the Cerulean Cave.
