Pokémon UNITE: Best Slowbro Build

Recommended Videos

Pokémon UNITE has all sorts of fast and energetic Pokémon, but Slowbro isn’t one. The literal definition of a slow fella, as it even has the word ‘slow’ in its name, Slowbro is all about tackling things at its own pace, one step at a time. Being a Defender is not all bad though, since its role is not to score points or win over enemy Pokémon, but rather protect its teammates and support with lots of CC moves in a fight.

Best setup and build for Slowbro in Pokémon UNITE

Understanding Slowbro’s moveset, is the key to victory. It’s a Pokémon that focuses on controlling the flow of battle, with every move in its arsenal causing some kind of CC, that being slow, knockback, you name it. Compared to Snorlax, Slowbro can’t withstand that amount of punishment, but compensates with the multitude of negative ailment it can cause, to hinder enemy Pokémon.

Being slow as a snail, Slowbro is not a beginner-friendly Pokémon as more often than not you will need to know where to go, when, and how to handle your moves. Saving that Water Gun for when the time is needed to save a teammate, may end up crucial in the long run. Therefore, Slowbro is a strategic character and it is advised to play around with various Pokémon prior, in order to know how to handle them for when you are actually using Slowbro. The items we picked for this build further support its natural bulkiness, and alongside the various status effects it can cause, Slowbro is a solid ally in any team.
