The Bandit Challenges in Red Dead Redemption 2 are some of the best ones in the game because it’s all about stealing. To complete the Bandit Challenge series you will need to become proficient in the many ways that you can rob in the game. From stealing horses to performing train robberies, these challenges must be completed one at a time. Use the tips below to complete the Bandit challenges quickly.
The Bandit challenge objectives, rewards, and tips can be found below:
Bandit 1 Challenge
Objective – Hold up 5 townsfolk.
Reward – Unlocks the Bandit Bandolier at the Trapper
Tip: Just go up to people in the town and press the Y/Triangle Button to rob them.
Bandit 2 Challenge
Objective – Rob any 2 coaches or return any 2 stolen coaches to the fence.
Reward – Unlocks the Bandit Holster at the Trapper
Tip: You can really just sit outside on the roads to Emerald Ranch. Wait for coaches to pass by and quickly drive them into the garage at the wagon fence.
Bandit 3 Challenge
Objective – Rob the cash register in any 4 shops in one day.
Tip: Start in the morning so you have enough time. You’re probably going to need to go to multiple towns to get this done as you’ll be wanted after you rob the first one.
Bandit 4 Challenge
Objective – Rob any 3 coaches or return any 3 stolen coaches to the fence in a day.
Reward – Use a lockbreaker to break locks silently
Tip: Same process as Bandit 2
Bandit 5 Challenge
Objective – Amass a $250 bounty in one state.
Tip – Killing law officers will increase your bounty fast.
Bandit 6 Challenge
Objective – Steal 5 horses and sell them to the Horse Fence at Clemens Cove.
Bandit 7 Challenge
Objective – Rob $50 worth of cash and valuables from townsfolk and travelers.
Tip – This probably is the most time consuming because most people are only carrying less than one dollar. Try to rob well dressed people in Saint Denis for multi-dollar robberies.
Reward – Unlocks the Bandit Off-Hand Holster at the Trapper
Bandit 8 Challenge
Objective – Steal 7 wagons and sell them to the Fence at Emerald Ranch.
Bandit 9 Challenge
Objective – Hogtie someone and leave them on the railroad 3 times.
Bandit 10 Challenge
Objective – Complete 5 train robberies without dying or being caught.
Reward – Unlocks the Bandit Gun Belt at the Trapper
Tip – If you can’t find a train to rob just buy a ticket. Ride the train to a destination and then when you’re getting off the train rob one of the passengers.
