There are a couple of ways to get ammunition in Red Dead Redemption 2.  You can craft it if you’ve got the right supplies.  You can purchase it from stores.  You can also pick plenty of it up off of the dead bodies you leave in your wake.  However, if you never want to run out of ammo again in the game you can enter a cheat code that will give you unlimited ammo for all your guns.

Your ammunition will normally be displayed in a couple of places.  When in-game it will be displayed at the top right corner of the screen.  When in the weapon menu it will be shown under your weapon.  With the Infinite Ammunition cheat those will go away and you’ll never run out.  This cheat will also give you unlimited variations of your ammo, which includes unlimited regular bullets, high velocity, split point, express, and explosive bullets.

To enter the cheat code you’ll need to go into the start menu and head to settings.  Then press the Y/Triangle Button to access the Cheat Codes menu.  From there you’ll enter the code below:

Abundance is the Dullest Desire

It’s worth noting that once you enter a cheat code in the game you will not be able to save your progress or work towards completion in the game. These cheat codes are used when you are just exploring or messing around with the game.
