Sniper Elite 5 Survival Mode

Sniper Elite 5 promises a wealth of opportunities for players to enjoy the stealth and tactical action within this shooter game, however, they want.  While an obvious showcase for this is the campaign, much can also be said for Survival Mode, which plays like a Tower Defense in which you and potentially 3 other players can defend a command post from hordes of Nazi soldiers by any means necessary.  Read on for our Survival Mode Tips for Sniper Elite 5!

Sniper Elite 5: Survival Mode Tips

While stealth is heavily featured as a vital approach to the campaign, many instances of Survival Mode will result in stealth being thrown out the window, and you’ll need to use multiple methods to live through each encounter.  Being detected doesn’t spell doom for you, as the enemies should already be considered on alert; you should consider planning out multiple vantage points to move between to take your shots at the enemy, as well as setting mines, TNT, and other traps at entry points nearby.  At the start of each round, take advantage of your prep time, and don’t sleep on the Panzerfaust.  The enemy is constantly drawn to the command post, so you can see this to your advantage.

One way in which you can use the command post as a lure is when the enemies appear in overwhelming quantities on the minimap and approach your base; get some distance, lay some mines near where enemies might capture the point, and get your weapons ready.  Enemies will completely abandon cover to try and capture this point, so grenades will be particularly powerful in these instances.  Be careful not to get caught in a firefight if you’re spotted during this, so again, going from cover to cover will be vital.  In this mode, stealth isn’t the name of the game, but staying alive very much is.
