Greetings, snipers! Sniper Elite 5 is out May 26, 2022, and you might be eager to get in on the action. But it’s important to think carefully as you start each mission, as running in guns blazing is simply not the way the game is best enjoyed, and in some cases, it can make completing your missions quite difficult. Planning will be your friend, and most missions will arm you with some vital assets you can potentially miss if you’re not paying attention. Read on for our guide on What to Do When Starting Your Missions in Sniper Elite 5!
Sniper Elite 5: What to Do When Starting Missions
Whenever you start missions, you should do each of the following: speak to any NPCs marked with a blue icon on your mini-map if present and check your map for objectives. The game doesn’t hold your hand when it comes to identifying what the mission goals are; instead, you must go to the areas, usually marked with a circle, and identify the points of interest by spotting them, which pinpoints where you must go from there.
Speaking to the NPCs such as rangers or resistance fighters places those objective markers on the map to make life easier for you. This will save bundles of time, especially in the case of Mission 6, whose objectives feel otherwise very vague and general until you learn exactly what you must do at the start. From there, you’ll know who or what to shoot or sabotage, and not have to spend valuable time scouring the area to spot.
