If you pre-ordered Spider-Man on PS4 you likely have a nice pre-order bonus waiting for you in the game. These in-game items include free skill points to level up you character as well as free suits to go along with the other 28 different suits in the game.
What you need to know about getting these items is that you’ll need to play a little bit once you’ve entered your code to redeem the items. They aren’t given to you right away and you’ll need to play to different parts of the game to get access. Basically just have to play the game for a little bit to get access to these items, assuming that you’ve entered a valid pre-order code.
To get access to the pre-order suits, you will need to play through the first few story missions of Spider-Man. Once you complete the Something Old, Something New Story Mission you’ll get access to the pre-order bonus. You’ll instantly have access to the Spider-Punk Suit, Iron Spider Suit, and Velocity Suit.
Getting your free skill points is a little bit easier than getting the pre-order suits. To get the free Skill Points you’ll just need to play your way through the intro section of the game. In this area you’ll face off against Kingpin. Once you’ve beaten him, head into the game’s menus and use the Skill Points to improve Spider-Man’s abilities.
