As we’re over a month out from the launch of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, many players are doing deeper dives into the characters that are at the top of the tier list. Sitting there, taunting you with her effectiveness, is Inkling. The super speedy and beast of a character relies on one key thing though: ink. If you are totally out of ink then pressing B will do it automatically, but that isn’t the best idea. Many of Inkling’s best attacks rely on having a nice, full reserve of the precious fluid. So, how do you refill ink when you still have some left?
Pressing either shoulder button to bring up your shield then holding B will do the trick. This will perform the same sort of reload action as wasting the rest of your ink and filling back up. Refilling your ink isn’t instantaneous though, so make sure you’re well out of danger before you try it. If you get hit, you’ll stop refilling, but retain what you got in the tank, so at least there’s that.
