As you make your way into the world of V Rising, you’ll have quite a few things to take care of. You’ll need to build your castle to the best that it can be, manage different craftable materials, and most importantly, become the greatest vampire in the land.
However, to do this, you’ll need to make sure that you are utilizing all of your different Vampire Powers, as there are quite a few of them to use. Find out which ones you should utilize the most with our guide on the best vampire powers available in V Rising!
Use These Vampire Powers in V Rising
Blood Mend
You’ll want to make sure that you’re keeping yourself in tip-top shape, especially if you plan on taking part in combat. What better way to do this, than healing yourself with the blood that you have acquired through your adventures? You’ll be able to use Blood Mend any time your health is low, but you’ll need to be careful, as there is an animation that plays alongside this action that can leave you slightly vulnerable for some time. Make sure you hide in the shade before you use this! You start the game with this power, and it is one of the most helpful throughout your journey.
Human Form
Making your way into the world as a vampire can be scary, but if you take on the shape of a Human with this power, you’ll be able to engage with different townsfolk. However, you’ll need to make sure that you have plenty of blood stored up because this burns through your blood quickly. While most people will not be able to tell, there are still some folks that will be able to see through your disguise, so consider that as well. However, being able to trade with different merchants, and interact with different villagers makes this a valuable tool to have. You unlock this power after defeating Beatrice the Tailor, a level 38 boss.
Blood Hunger
As you know, there are many different blood types, all with their benefits and weaknesses. Thankfully, the Blood Hunger power will allow you to see what kind of blood resides in your enemies, so you can continue to keep one blood type in your veins and begin to reap the benefits of their stacked bonuses. However, it may take a bit of time to get your hands on this power, as you’ll need to defeat Tristan the Vampire Hunter, a level 46 boss to get this. You’ll also get a few other benefits from taking him down, so make sure that you start working towards this goal quickly.

Bear Form
With your ability to shapeshift, you’ll be ready to take on the world and find materials faster than ever once you unlock the Bear Form. You’ll be able to destroy large amounts of resources quickly, getting your hands on many different items faster than ever. With the bonuses of a 15% movement speed increase, 25% less damage taken, and faster regeneration of health, this easily takes the cake as one of the best shapeshifting forms. You’ll need to defeat the Ferocious Bear, a level 36 boss to get this power. However, the benefits of this form are worth the risk, so make sure you are prepared and ready to take him down.
Dominating Presence
Would you truly be a great vampire if you didn’t have an army of loyal servants, ready to obey your every command? If you’re looking to have this, you’ll need to take advantage of the Dominating Presence power, which will allow you to charm your enemies, allowing you to take complete control and have them do your every bidding. You’ll need to make sure that you are crafting servant coffins as well, which require 16 Planks, 8 Copper Ingots, and 1 Greater Blood Essence. You unlock this power during the tutorial of the game.
And there we have it, 5 of the greatest Vampire Powers that you’ll be able to use in V Rising. While every power has its strengths and weaknesses, you’ll find that these will slowly become your favorite to use in the game, offering many different advantages to make use of.
V Rising is available now, in early access, on Microsoft Windows.
