When you reach the Knight’s tower in The Last Guardian, you put your mirror on the pedestal to try and head up. However something is blocking your way and that’s the ceiling. How do you progress you might ask? Well we’re here to help you out.
You may notice some holes on the floor that you are standing on. Don’t directly jump into the hole yet, or else you will die. You need to go down the hole slowly to jump off afterwards. Now you just need to grab Trico’s tail by holding down the circle button.
By holding down Trico’s tail, try and drag it down into the hole. Climb onto his tail and slowly make your way down. Look to either the left or right and try and jump onto the blue platform. You now need to find a way to open the ceiling.
When you search the room outside, you need to put your mirror into eight pedestals. Some pedestals are open while others are guarded by Knights. At least two of the Knights are alive already while the rest are inactive.
For the inactive Knights blocking you way, you need to grab the helmets on the shelves. Go close to an inactive Knight and press square to throw it. Some electricity will light and the helmet will go on their head. The Knights will now come alive!
Here comes the annoying part. The Knights will come and attack you! To get rid of them, you go back to the room you came from with Trico’s tail. Press circle so that Trico’s tail can destroy the Knights. You need to destroy all the Knights before you put the mirror into the pedestals. If you don’t, they’ll just keep kidnapping you.
After you have destroyed all of the Knights, go back and put the mirror inside the eight or so pedestals. The ceiling will then be unlocked!
