Electronic Arts revealed what to expect from FIFA 20 when it releases later this year. A new street mode called Volta as well as gameplay improvements seem to be the selling points of the annual soccer game that is set to release on September 27th.
Volta Football seemed to take center stage at the reveal of FIFA 20. The mode will feature character customization for male and female avatars with customizable clothing, hairstyles, tattoos, and celebrations. Customization items will be made available to players as they progress through in-game challenges. The mode will feature a number of unique locations in Amsterdam, London, Tokyo, and others.
Volta will feature multiple ways to play, whether that’s with other real players or against the CPU in a Volta Story Mode as well as other modes.
On the gameplay front, the major talking point for EA with FIFA 20 is “Football Intelligence” which they say will make for a higher level of realism in FIFA 20. Alongside this improvements to ball physics, tackling, finishing, defending, player motion, and others are highlighted as the refinements made to this year’s game.

FIFA 20 will release on September 27th and there will be a 3-day early access period for the game depending on which version is purchased.
The FIFA 20 Standard Edition will cost $59.99 and will give you access to the base game. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will give a few bonuses.

FIFA 20 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 27th. Origin Access and EA Access subscribers will once again be able to play a timed trial ahead of release.
