In a surprise turn of events that doesn’t quite match the Patriots ridiculous comeback at Super Bowl 51, Ark: Survivor’s Pack has upset Resident Evil 7 to become the most downloaded game on PlayStation Store for January 2017. There are, of course, many reasons that this happened, the biggest of which is the fact that ARK was available through all of January, while RE7 only hit on the 24th. Still, it’s pretty surprising to see. Here’s the whole list:

Tomb Raider almost certainly benefited from some sort of sale, though I’m having trouble locating one right now. Let me know in the comments if you saw a price drop that I’m missing. And of course, we see the staples of Battlefield 1, GTA V, Rocket League, and Minecraft. These games are pretty much certain to be somewhere on the list every single month.
