Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance DLC has arrived on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Â The third bout of content for the popular shooter can be found via the in-game storefront. Â The download contains four multiplayer maps and a fifth zombies map, and weighs in at just under 2GB in size.
The five new maps and their descriptions can be found below. Â If you’re looking to get a sneak peek at the new maps, head here for a developer walkthrough of the Vengeance Map Pack.
Rush –Â Fast, close-quarter engagements are assured in this paintball course turned full- combat arena, giving players new opportunities and challenges to use the cover to their advantage.
Cove –Â The stage is set for all-out conflict on this small, forgotten island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, where players battle it out amongst the wreckage of a jet that crash-landed during a smuggling operation gone wrong.
Detour –Â Players fight amongst the scattered vehicles, exposed iron and collapsed pavement of a destroyed suspension bridge, high above this East Coast waterway where the action can play out on multiple levels.
Uplink – In this re-imagined adaptation of the fan-favorite Call of Duty®: Black Ops multiplayer map Summit, players clash deep in the rain-soaked jungles of Myanmar, high atop a hi-tech mountain facility.
Buried –Â Players will be challenged to face their deepest fears, trapped inside a long-forgotten subterranean Old West mining town infested with swarms of the undead.
Alongside the new maps, Zombies fans will also get access to a brand new weapon in the DLC pack, the Ray Gun Mark II which can be used in every zombie map in Black Ops 2. Â The new content comes included for those who already purchased the 4000 MSP Black Ops 2 Season Pass. Â For those that didn’t purchase all four map packs, by itself, the Black Ops 2 Vengeance DLC will run you 1200 MSP. Â PlayStation 3 and PC players will need to wait until next month to access the new Call of Duty maps.
