Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will release in February, and those with concerns about the fidelity of the PC version can put them to rest. Konami’s David Cox reassures that the PC version of LOS 2 is “almost like a next-gen version,” Cox explained.
“We designed the game engine for next-gen in mind. We know that this would be the last game we did on current-gen, so in many ways the PC version is almost like a test run for us.”
So while Lords of Shadow 2 will not arrive on the Xbox One and PS4, it won’t be a straight port of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, nor will it be held back by those aging console specs. Lords of Shadow 2 launches on February 25th for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
