DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Gets Debut Date And Brand New Trailer

by Dean James

Legends-of-Tomorrow

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was announced earlier this year as a third show in the CW’s Arrow and Flash universes that we knew was coming at midseason. There has been much speculation since then on when and what night it would debut, but now we have those details along with a brand new trailer.

Legends of Tomorrow will makes it grand debut on Thursday, January 21 at 8 pm, which will be its regular timeslot moving forward. It will be followed by the latest season premiere of The 100 as well.

For The Vampire Diaries and The Originals fans that are wondering what this means for their shows, they are both now moving to Fridays, which is no longer quite the death sentence it once was, especially on the CW.

Beyond this reveal, the CW’s official YouTube account also released a brand new trailer for Legends of Tomorrow as well. We already got a decent look at the series back in May after the CW’s upfronts, but this one includes updated costumes and actors, as well as much more action.

Joining The Atom/Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), White Canary/Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Firestorm/Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Captain Cold/Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller), Heatwave/Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), Hawkgirl/Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee), and Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) from the first trailer are Firestorm/Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh), Hawkman/Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel), and Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). In addition, we get a glimpse of the Green Arrow as well, while the Flash is surprisingly missing, though we know he’s involved as well.

The new trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow can be seen below, which shows them traveling through time with 2166 and the 1970’s both being shown of in the trailer, as well as a few others.
