Destiny: The Taken King launched a couple of weeks ago, and has generally been well received by fans and critics alike (check out our review here). Of course, with any big update like The Taken King, some issues are bound to make their way through the QA process. We saw the first hotfix update hit a week ago with Destiny Update 2.0.0.4. Today we get another one, looking to tackle some problems that fans will be happy about, and one they might not be.
First up, Destiny Hotfix Update 2.0.0.5 addresses the bug that allowed Titan Sunbreakers to spam the Hammer of Sol attack. This allowed for some truly interesting moments when this glitch was exploited, with explosions constantly going off around the player. This is the one players might miss, at least the ones who were playing as Titan Sunbreakers.
The rest of the fixes are pretty standard, and should please fans. Destiny Update 2.0.0.5 fixes “an issue where players were occasionally not getting loot when opening chests” and “an issue where players were not earning their rightfully-owed equipment from Valus Ta’aurc.”
With these problems out of the way it should be even smoother sailing for Destiny: The Taken King, which is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
