Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 Reveal Could Come Soon Based on New Trademarks

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part II could be revealed soon potentially due to information that was circulated around the gaming community today that indicated various trademarks were filed by Square Enix. It was just today that the information was public as the trademarks were actually filed on the 12th of May and not today instead. There are three trademarks filed in total and fans are wondering if any of these trademarks that are being filed could mean that there might be a Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 reveal soon.

Of course, this is still a rumor at the moment and there are no definite answers that there will be any reveal occurring for the game. Nonetheless, it is the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII this year, and thus there is the possibility that news relating to the next part of the installment for the Final Fantasy VII Remake will make its presence known during June.

In terms of the actual trademarks, Gematsu noted the trademarks that were filed. The first of which was “FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE” which of course is related to the remake of Final Fantasy VII and the edition that includes Yuffie’s DLC episode within. Further, there was also “LABYRINTH STRIKER” which information is known little about. This could be linked to another game/experience so it may not be for the second part of the Remake but there is potential that it could be related to something for it. Especially with its filing occurring with the 25th anniversary.

As another trademark there was also the “FINAL BAR LINE” which is thought to be music of some kind, however, it may also be for a rhythm game potentially in development by Square Enix or of course for an existing rhythm game in the Final Fantasy series. Personally, I’m wondering if it may be some music for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2. Whatever the trademarks may stand for, it’s clear to observe that Square Enix has been busy filing trademarks during the 25th anniversary of the 1997 game.

While waiting for more information on the next installment, now would be an excellent time to play through everything that the Remake has to offer you. With luck, fans will be treated to a great array of Final Fantasy information next month, and some of this information may indeed include a reveal for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Part II.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is available now on PlayStation 5 and PC.
