PlayStation Plus is set to kick off their August line-up with another batch of Instant Game Collection titles for subscribers to the service. Â The 2012 release of Hitman: Absolution will headline the collection and kick-off August in a major way.
Later this month, PS Plus subscribers will get access to Zen Pinball 2: Star Wars, Bit.Trip Presents Runner 2, Machinarium, and Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower. Â There are also a handful of discounts to be had on Rayman titles to get you good and primed for Rayman Legends, which is due later this year on the PlayStation 3.
Sony’s getting quite ambitious with the Plus program. Â Hitman: Absolution feels like it just arrived. Â If games will start arriving on the service in this short of time span, PlayStation Plus subscribers are going to be quite pleased with the service going forward.
Hitman: Absolution isn’t the first big game to hit the service, just the latest. Â It joins titles like Battlefield 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and a laundry list of games that pad the value of instant game collection.
