Hyrule Warriors first released for the Wii U back in 2014 and provided Zelda fans with a fun game that was full of love for the long running series. They then followed that up with Hyrule Warriors Legends back in March that included the previous DLC, and now the handheld version’s first DLC finally has a release date.
On May 19, the first DLC for Hyrule Warriors Legends will be releasing in Japan, which should also be coming the same day in the US and Europe if past releases for Hyrule Warriors are any indication.
This DLC will be coming alongside a new patch for the game, 1.3.0, which is making a few small changes, but most importantly adding the free character of Medli from The Wind Waker, which will also be free for Hyrule Warriors owners on Wii U.
The paid DLC this time will be the Master Wind Waker Pack, which will not be adding as much as the future game centric packs will, as we already got a number of Wind Waker related characters with the base game and now Medli who is free.
Included in this pack are the Wind Waker Adventure map, 16 new My Fairy Pieces, and 16 new costumes for only $1.99, with the option of buying the entire season pass as well for $14.99 to get this and the upcoming content as well. You can see Medli and the Master Wind Waker pack in action in the trailer below also.
