LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens was only announced earlier this week, but now we already know that John Boyega will be returning to voice Finn in the video game.
John Boyega tweeted out: “Out of all that I had foreseen or hoped this wasn’t one of them! Had an amazing time reprising my role as Finn #LEGO”
Boyega already reprised his role as Finn in Disney Infinity 3.0. Daisy Ridley (Rey), Oscar Isaac (Poe) and Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) all voiced their own characters in Disney Infinity 3.0, but it’s unknown at this stage if they will be back for LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.
It’s possible most of the new cast will be back in the LEGO game as the likes of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard lent their talents to the LEGO Jurassic World video game.
LEGO Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens will be following the events of the movie and will also add the iconic LEGO humor into some scenes. It’s the only full video game based on the new Star Wars film as the Disney Infinity playset was more of an add-on while Battlefront has no Force Awakens content at all.
