We’ve had no shortage of news regarding Mass Effect Andromeda lately, and now BioWare has revealed the actors that make up the game’s leading family voice cast. These are the people who will be voicing the members of the Ryder family in the game, and one actor in particular will definitely be a name you’ve heard of before.
The information was shared with Game Informer, who revealed each actor and what they’re most known for. Leading off the bunch is Clancy Brown as Alec Ryder, who video game fans will know as Hades in God of War 3 and TV fans will know as Mr. Krabs from SpongeBob SquarePants. He’s followed by Tom Taylorson as Scott Ryder (Octodad: Dadliest Catch) and Fryda Wolff as Sara Ryder (Civilization: Beyond Earth).
The article goes on to reveal that “At the beginning of the game, players select whether they want to be Scott or Sara (with the option to customize their appearance, of course). Both of the twins are relatively inexperienced – especially when compared to Commander Shepard – but their father is an N7 like the Mass Effect series’ previous hero. As the “Pathfinder,” Alec Ryder’s job is to lead humanity to a new home among unfamiliar stars.”
Mass Effect Andromeda will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2017.
