Minecraft Update Patch Hits PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U; Brings Free Skin Pack and More

A new Minecraft Update Patch is heading out today for every platform other than PC. Minecraft will be updated on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and PS Vita, with different changes coming for each platform, depending on what version of the game it is, and what needs touching up. One thing that is the same across nearly all of them though, is the addition of the free Minecraft: Story Mode skin pack, giving players the opportunity to dress up like characters from the Telltale game.

As far as what else has been altered in this Minecraft update, here are the official patch notes for PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U. Some of the best changes for this Minecraft update are: Added Story Mode skin pack. Added 6 new achievements. Added new “Minecart Sounds” option to Audio Settings.Improved sprint control. Fix for issue where the Ender Dragon would be immune to attacks. Fix for Slimes not spawning in certain Swamps and Slime Chunks. Fix for Potion of Swiftness, Potion of Slowness and Speed bonus of Beacon having no effect on the player.
