Naughty Dog has estimated that you could see at least one or two more games from the studio on PS4 after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End comes out.

Finder.com interviewed Arne Meyer who is the Community Strategist for Naughty Dog. The website asked if there is the possibilty we will see more PS4 games from the studio after Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Meyer said that Naughty Dog’s “development cycles aren’t too long” and he would hope that at least one more PS4 game will be released from the studio before the next generation starts.

When asked further on the topic, Meyer estimated that “we have at least one, maybe two games left in the console generation, maybe more“.

Naughty Dog managed to make four games in the last generation for PS3. It made three Uncharted games plus The Last of Us. As for the current generation, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be the studio’s first new game on PS4. One has to wonder what other games might be in the pipeline. We could see a sequel to The Last of Us plus something new entirely.

This is all based on Meyer’s own estimates though. Nobody can really predict how long a game has to be in development. After all, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End itself had to be delayed by several months.
