New Character Skins and Weapon Cosmetics

Apex Legends has just released its newest collection event known as Evolution and it is now live in-game. It brings along with it many notable Epic and Legendary character skins and weapon cosmetics to the game that players won’t want to miss out on.

Here’s everything included in the Evolution Collections Event:

The Legendary Collection

The new Evolution collection includes 7 new Legendary character cosmetic options including Solar Soldier, Peak Performance, Cybernetic Payload, Alabaster Titan, Cleanup Crew, Elegant Mechanics, and Neon Spectre. All these character skins will cost players 1800 Apex Coins and 2400 Crafting Materials.

The Legendary collection also includes 4 weapon skins including Master Blaster for the Mastiff, Ethereal Expectations for the Sentinel, Hydraulic Helper for Rampage, and Amethyst Apathy for the R-301. It finally includes one Pathfinder Emote Old Bot, New Trick.

The Epic Collection

The Evolution collection includes only 2 Epic character cosmetic options including Hardened Circuitry and Data Leak. Both cost 1000 Apex Coins, and 800 Crafting Materials.

There are four Epic weapon skins included Artifact Finder for the Hemlok, Time Circuit for the 30-30 Repeater, Aqua Flow for the Flatline, and Silicon Dream for the Longbow.

The collection has various other options including the In and Out and the Masked Mileage weapon charms. Two skydiving emotes including Third Time’s A Charm for Revenant, and Style and Grace for Seer. Finally, it also includes two banner poses, No Surprises for Wraith, and Preventative Measures for Lifeline.

Along with this Evolution Collection, Apex Legends has released Update 1.80, and surprisingly it had kept the Tap-Strafing movement for the time being due to “unexpected side effects”.  Respawn has reassured fans that it’s still planning to address the most egregious use-cases of tap-strafing but will instead be in a later patch.

Apex Legends is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Mobile Devices.
