Capcom has released a scary new trailer for Resident Evil 7. That’s not all, they also revealed a little more about the story of the game.
Details are still vague about the main characters, but it appears one of them goes missing. You’ll be happy to know that Resident Evil 7 retains the scary atmosphere that the older games had. It won’t be the shooting gallery that Resident Evil 6 was.
Capcom posted these details: “Set within the sinister plantation house in Dulvey, Louisiana, the Baker family, including Jack and Marguerite, were residents but no-one has seen or heard from them in a while. Where could they be? One thing is clear in the latest content to be shown from the game – there’s something not quite right within the plantation. Who is the mysterious girl in the gameplay? What does Marguerite want with her?”
Resident Evil 7 will be released on January 24th, 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is also fully playable from beginning to end on the PlayStation VR headset. This means this will be the first game in the main series to be in the first-person perspective. You can check out the new trailer below.
