The UK sales chart has been revealed this week and No Man’s Sky didn’t do too well. The game’s sales dropped heavily as F1 2016 raced ahead for pole position.

F1 2016 was a new release so it’s expected that sales would be higher. Not to mention Formula 1 racing is pretty popular over in the UK so it makes sense the game would sell well.

What was really unexpected is how big the drop in sales were for No Man’s Sky. Sales for the game in its second week in the UK dropped to an astounding 81 percent according to GFK Chart-Track.

Before its release, the game was anticipated to be one of the best to be out in the year of 2016. Since the game has come out, fans and critics have not been very kind to it. It appears people hyped up the game’s features too much. Not to mention the game looks and feels the same after several hours of gameplay even though the planets are supposed to be all “unique”.

There isn’t much to say about the rest of the games in this week’s video game charts. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is out this week so that should take the top spot on the charts very soon.
