Pokèmon Focused Nintendo Direct Coming Tomorrow

Nintendo has announced a brand new Nintendo Direct presentation exclusively focused on Pokèmon. What does that mean? Well there’s very little information to go on, but it seems pretty likely that Pokèmon for Switch will be revealed. This would mark the official start of Gen 8 for the franchise, along with its transition off of the 3DS and onto the Switch. Of course, Nintendo could surprise us, so be sure to tune in tomorrow at 9am Eastern Time to watch the whole thing.

You can do so right here, but there are always lots of ways to watch the latest Nintendo Direct. These shows have become the company’s main way of sharing new game release information with their fans. As the Switch has become a massive success, each new presentation has garnered more and more interest from gamers. Recently there was one about 2019 games on the Switch, resulting in tons of new announcements.

This may also be a bitter-sweet show, with the recent announcement that longtime Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime would be retiring in April. Will Reggie be a part of this Direct? It’s actually unlikely since it is only said to last seven minutes. That leaves little time for Reggie’s farewell or anything like that. Instead it will probably be a short announcement of what to expect from Pokèmon on Switch along with a wide release window, which was expected to be later this year.
