For fans of Pokemon GO, you have a new, one-day-only event to look forward to. To showcase the power of the Mega-Evolution Pokemon that you’ve been catching and raising, you’ll be able to bring them into the Battle League, but for only one day.

What do you need to do to enter this, and what kind of power can they contain? Are there any great rewards for jumping into this event? Let’s find out and see all of the details in regards to this event!

Pokemon GO Battle Day: Stardust Surprise

Pokemon-GO-Mega-Evolution

On May 29th from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm, you’ll be able to bring your Mega Evolutions into the Battle League. However, you’ll only be able to use the in the Master League, which means you’ll be fighting against the strongest Pokemon available, so be prepared and ready for a fight.

You’ll also be able to partake in up to 100 Battles, which is a large increase, so make sure that you’ve got enough items to keep the fight going through the day! Make sure that you Mega Evolve before entering the battle, however!

During these fights, you’ll also gain an extra 4x Stardust, which will allow you to power up your Pokemon faster than ever. If you have the proper team, you’ll also be able to claim an exclusive Avatar Item, the Gladion’s Pants to deck your character out in. The increase in Stardust, plus the chance of getting a new item for no cost is a great deal, just make sure that you have enough time to complete a full set of rewards to claim this item.

If you don’t have any Pokemon that can compete in the Master League, don’t fret! You’ll be able to partake in extra battles in the Ultra League, and Great League, too! Both of these classes have much lower CP requirements, making them more accessible to players that may not dedicate a lot of time to powering up their Pokemon. You’ll also still be able to claim the Stardust and Avatar Item rewards by partaking in these League events, so there’s no reason not to get in on the fun!

You’ve got just about a week to start powering up your Pokemon, so get yourself ready for an all-out brawl with this upcoming event, and make sure you’re ready for anything when it rolls around on May 29th!

Pokemon GO is available now on mobile devices.
