It’s not every day where a game advertises the fact that their main character is prone to death. It just so happens that today is one of those days. Below you will find the trailer where quite a few examples of the deaths that will be awaiting the titular character in Styx: Master of Shadows.
We have already learnt before that Styx is well attuned in the arts of magic, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Styx himself is merely a small little goblin with minimal strength compared to the knights, elves and other creatures that he will have to outwit. The trailer makes it very clear that if you don’t plan and execute your infiltration stealthily, death will be very swift and no amount of magic invisibility powers is going to save you.
For those of you who are worried that you will merely be able to find off armies with “counters” like in Assassin’s Creed, you need not worry about that in Styx: Master of Shadows. You will merely get picked up and killed nearly instantaneously.
