It looks like Respawn Entertainment is still undecided about an open beta for Titanfall. While this weekend’s closed alpha test has shed light on the game for many who’ve yet to see it action, the game’s community manager says that there’s still a possibility that would-be purchasers will be able to get hands-on before taking the plunge.
When asked by fans whether there would be an open beta for the multiplayer-centric shooter, the community manager for the game said that it is indeed possible.
With multiplayer such a focus for the upcoming game and the increasing number of games that have connectivity issues at launch, an open beta could give the developers an opportunity to stress test the game.
We’ll have to wait and see what Respawn decides to do in regards to an open beta for Titanfall.
