Easily one of the most anticipated games of 2016, PlayStation 4 owners will get a taste of what’s to come with a beta for the multiplayer component of Uncharted 4.  While this beta was announced some time ago, it was recently confirmed by Sony’s EU PlayStation Twitter account that the beta will in fact arrive earlier than expected.  The tweet says that the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Beta will arrive on December 3rd, instead of the fourth.  This was reconfirmed to be a day earlier by Fred Dutton, PlayStation’s EU Blog Manager. Hopefully, this goes out to all regions at the same time.
This is not an open beta.  It arrives exclusively for Uncharted fans who recently purchased the excellent Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection earlier this year.  It was announced that the beta would start at 1700 GMT.  If my timezone math is correct, this should be around 12PM EST.
So how do you access the beta? Â If you own the Uncharted Collection, an insert in the game explains that you’ll need to have the disc for the game.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Â Insert the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection disc in your PS4
Step 2: Â Highlight the game icon on your PS4
Step 3: Â Select Overview
Step 4: Â Select The Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Multiplayer Beta to begin downloading the beta from the PlayStation Store.
Uncharted 4: Â A Thief’s End is slated to launch exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 18th.
