PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya has asked fans on his official Twitter account if they would like to see a sequel to Okami, Devil May Cry or Viewtiful Joe.

Kamiya posted two polls asking fans which sequel they would like to see get made by him. One was a poll asking for Okami or Devil May Cry. The other poll asked for Okami or Viewtiful Joe.

The first poll (as of time of writing) was voted on by 4,369 people so far. 63 percent of people would rather see an Okami sequel get made. Only 37 percent of people wanted to see another sequel to Devil May Cry.

On the other poll, the results were the same. Over 2,290 votes were cast as of time of writing. Only 38 percent of people wanted to see a sequel to Viewtiful Joe. Okami won the poll again with 62 percent of fans voting on it.

Whether this poll was done for fun or something serious remains to be seen. Hopefully Kamiya is listening to the fans and convinces PlatinumGames to commission an Okami sequel to be made in the near future.

Okami truly is one of the most underrated games in history. It is by far one of the best ever games I have ever played. Hopefully something more comes out of these polls.
