We’ve known that Black Tusk is making an exclusive for the Xbox One, we just don’t know much about it. The mystery surrounding the exclusive continues to build as a new job opening at the studio suggests that the developers are still looking to bring this new IP to life.
According to a job posting by Black Tusk, they are looking for a seasoned storyteller to join their ranks.
“We are looking for a seasoned storyteller who can help us bring Microsoft’s next big IP to life. This individual will help us develop the characters, story arc, emotional tone, pacing, dialogue, and flavor of a story that will shape the spirit of this new franchise,” the listing reads.
A monocum of details arrives in the responsibilities section of the listing, where the writing is said to entail ‘creating a cast of distinctive, engaging, and imperfect characters that players love (or love to hate)’.
Furthermore, the story is said to take players on a “hero’s journey”.
Black Tusk Studios is a Canadian Studio who is part of the Microsoft Studios family. There’s still no official word on what to expect out of the studio, or when to expect it. Back at E3, we only got a very brief glimpse of what to expect in the teaser trailer shown at the Microsoft press conference.
