Black Ops 2 will see its second map pack arrive in the near future, what it will consist of has yet to be revealed. Though it was recently uncovered that this second map pack for Black Ops 2 will be called “Uprising” after code was found that outed the content pack as one that structured similarly to the first.
A description for the map pack may have been uncovered by a forum goer on the Official Call of Duty Forums. “Download the epic Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising Theme, featuring Studio Vertigo and the Mob of the Dead, Treyarch’s most terrifying Zombies experience to date,” a description tucked away in the site’s source code reads.
This makes a clear signal that Treyarch will continue their pattern of incorporating a new Zombies map in the upcoming pack, and it will likely feature four multiplayer maps as well. There’s no mention of any new weapon DLC, but then again, Treyarch has yet to officially announce this new content.
Following the pattern set by previous Call of Duty map pack releases, many expect the next pack to arrive in mid-late April. With Activision updating the official website, its expected that the map pack will be revealed in a matter of days.
For zombies fans, we’ll need to hear more about what makes this new zombies map so special.
