Fallout 4 headed to Boston according to rumors from MIT

Bethesda may be silently working on Fallout 4, and better yet, they’ve been reportedly scoping out Boston as the new setting for the game.  This weekend rumors surfaced via Reddit from an anonymous source that claims to work at the Massachussets Institute of Technology and having seen Bethesda conducting research for the unannounced game in the city.

This isn’t the first time Boston has come up as a rumored setting for Fallout 4, but this Redditor claims to have inside information.

“The rumors are true, Fallout 4 will take place in Boston.  In case you haven’t heard, Bethesda has recently been scoping out and researching Boston.  They also have a strong connection to MIT.  I may or may not be an MIT employee.  But that’s really all I can say for fear of losing my job…  Apologies for the vagueness of this post.  It’s not just my job that worries me, but also getting the f**k sued out of me.  Bethesda’s contracts are basically fool-proof so if they were to discover who I am, or rather, who I got this information from, a few people including myself could get into a lot of trouble.”

It’s probably too early to tell if this source’s information is legit at this point, because we’ve likely got a long wait ahead of us when it comes to a Fallout 4 reveal from Bethesda.
