This year at PAX East CD Projekt RED brought with them some new gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to show off. Seven minutes worth to be exact and it is pretty darn gorgeous. It makes the long wait until May that much harder.
The Witcher 3 will conclude the story of Geralt of Rivia as he embarks on a personal mission amidst an invasion of the Northern Kingdoms from the mysterious ‘Wild Hunt’. Only Geralt can stop them and thus sets the stage for the final chapter in his story.
The new gameplay video is narrated by CD Projekt RED senior level designer, Peter Gelencser. The video transports players on a tour of No Man’s Land, one several giant regions available for exploration in The Witcher 3. We are shown Geralt traveling via horseback attempting to uncover the ‘phantom’ of the trade route. The gameplay culminates in a battle against a Wyvern to save a local village from destruction. Check out all seven minutes below.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to release for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on May 19th. Prepare yourself for the release by checking out the PC requirements and looking at just how much HDD space you may end up requiring on consoles. At least the Xbox One will have some exclusive items.
