GTA 6 fans just got a date that could finally reveal what everyone’s been waiting for

Something big could be right around the corner.

There hasn’t been much buzz in the Grand Theft Auto community lately. While rumors and supposed leaks keep appearing online, we haven’t gotten anything official, especially not the third trailer that everyone’s waiting for.

According to Screen Rant, if you’ve been waiting for any official news about Grand Theft Auto 6, mark Tuesday, February 3, 2026, on your calendar. That’s when Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, will hold its quarterly earnings call, and fans think we might finally get a major update. Based on what’s happened before, these company earnings calls often become the perfect moment for big announcements.

An earnings call might not sound exciting, but this one is different. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has shared important details about GTA 6 during these calls before, especially about release dates. His past comments alone make February 3 feel like a really important event.

The timing of this earnings call could mean everything for GTA 6’s release date

The timing of this call is really important. This meeting is about the company’s Q3 2026 earnings. The current official release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 is November 19, 2026. Since that date falls in Q3, the earnings call is the perfect place for Take-Two to either confirm that date or announce a possible delay.

Rumors keep saying the game might get pushed back, but right now, November 19, 2026, is the official date. If Take-Two talks about that date directly, it will either calm everyone down or cause a huge reaction from fans. The community has been analyzing every detail, even discovering GTA 6 teases in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The biggest question is whether we’ll get a third trailer. That would be the best reward for all this waiting. The second trailer came out last May, about two weeks before the previous earnings call, which actually revealed a small delay for the game.

Take-Two isn’t following that same schedule this time. Still, the previous trailer’s timing shows the company likes to match big announcements with these financial updates. Even if a full trailer doesn’t come out on the same day as the call, there’s a good chance it could arrive soon after.

It’s too early to promise a third trailer will drop tomorrow, especially right when the earnings call happens. But fans are right to mark their calendars. The excitement has reached extreme levels, with some fans reportedly using fake IDs and drones to access Rockstar’s offices. This is probably our best chance in months for solid, official information about the game’s timeline and how development is going. The Take-Two call will happen at 9:30 UTC on February 3, 2026.
