Not long ago, it was revealed that No Man’s Sky would be coming to Xbox One this year. The original release window given was this summer, but it now looks like the specific release date may have leaked ahead of an official announcement.
A listing of the Xbox One version of No Man’s Sky recently appeared on Amazon Italy, which states that the game will be released on June 29. By all accounts, this seems like a likely date. It will officially be summer this year on June 21, so the supposed release date matches up with the information of a summer release. June 29 falls on a Friday, and since many video games tend to release on Fridays, this date appears legitimate. Not to mention placeholder dates are usually at the end of a season, quarter or year, and June 29 isn’t any of those. Of course, this could be a mistake based on an assumption on Amazon Italy’s part, so it’s best to not take this release date as truth until an official announcement is made by Hello Games or 505 Games.
When No Man’s Sky does eventually release on Xbox One, whether it be on June 29 or otherwise, it will contain all current DLC, as well as the upcoming “NEXT” update. The game is currently available for PC and PlayStation 4.
