Update 1.73 has arrived for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch.
A patch for the game was already released a few days ago for PUBG on console platforms. This update was patch 12.2 or 1.72 on PS4 and it brought with it a lot of changes and new content. The best new addition was a new map for the game called Taego.
However, the past patch was not perfect because it looked like many players were experiencing crashes. Developer PUBG Corporation has now released a new patch for the PS4 version of the game which brings it into update 1.73.
This new update is hopefully to address the new crashing issues that are affecting PlayStation players of the game. It does not look like a new update is available now for PC or Xbox players at the moment.
Anyway, you can read the full announcement from the official PUBG Twitter page posted down below.
PUBG Update 1.73 Patch Notes
“[Console] We have recently deployed a hotfix to resolve recent crashing issues occurring for PlayStation users. We’re continuing to monitor the situation.”
If there are anymore updates announced, we’ll be sure to update this post as soon as possible. PUBG is out now for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and mobile devices.
