Pokemon Go: How to Beat Arlo (November 2021) – Best Counters

Recommended Videos

Another month, another Team Rocket fight. Beating Arlo in November 2021 can be frustrating, but you can make the battle a breeze if you know what counters to bring and what weaknesses to capitalize on. Bringing the right team can make quick work of Arlo, letting you move on to the battles with Cliff and Sierra. His lineup remains mostly the same as it was in October, so you should be able to bring the same Pokemon and get through this fight without much effort. Here are the best Pokemon Go counters for Arlo in November 2021.

Best November 2021 Arlo Counters

The battle with Arlo is split into three phases. The first phase is always the same, but the second and third phases have a pool of Pokemon that he can choose from at random. It’s best to be prepared for his entire roster just in case he throws out something you weren’t expecting. Here’s Arlo’s November 2021 team lineup:

  • Phase 1: Venonat
  • Phase 2: Crobat, Manectric, Ursaring
  • Phase 3: Magnezone, Scizor, Vileplume

How to Beat Arlo in Pokemon Go

Arlo’s major weakness this month is Fire-type attacks. The first phase is always Venonat, which is weak to Fire-type moves, and the entire Phase 3 lineup (Magnezone, Scizor, Vileplume) is weak to Fire as well. You should bring Pokemon like Heatran, Charizard, Ho-Oh, or Reshiram to capitalize on this weakness.

It’s also good to bring a Ground-type or Rock-type Pokemon like Rhyperior or Groudon to take care of the other Pokemon in Arlo’s roster. Check out our Pokemon Go type chart to coordinate your team and plan your strategy
