Following on the heels of the recent Battlefield 3 Blackout which called for “open lines of communication” between developers and fans, a similar movement has begun to take shape for the Modern Warfare 3 community. Â It’s similar in nature as fans of the popular Call of Duty shooter are looking for their complaints with the game to be heard by Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Activision.
“Join us and your fellow Call of Duty players as we take a stand against Activision and Infinity Ward for their lack of support for the community’s needs and concerns. Â We have been ignored repeatedly when asking for fixes to be implemented pertaining to Lag Compensation, Matchmaking Options, the broken Spawn System, Full featured Theater Mode, Individual Volume Controls,” and a bunch of other concerns.
Hopefully, as DICE did with the Battlefield 3 community, Infinity Ward and Activision address the problems that the community is saying still exist in the shooter. It’s hard to tell how much traction the #MW3Blackout has right now, but I guess we’ll April 20th, when the blackout is scheduled to take place.
