A recent announcement from one of the voice actors involved in God of War Ragnarok may hint at a possible release date sooner than players expected. The sequel to God of War has been on many people’s radars, and if we are lucky, we may get more information about the title.

God of War was released back in 2018, and since then, a lot of fans from the old God of War franchise have been praising and celebrating Kratos’ return to the gaming market. At the time of its release, the game got a lot of attention, and it managed to get a 94/100 on Metacritic, something that many triple-A titles fail to get. The title even got a PC version released back in January, something rare for a Playstation exclusive title like this one.

A few days ago, the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit shared a post regarding a statement made by a voice actor linked to God of War: Ragnarok. Ryan Hurst is an American actor known for playing Opie Winston in Sons of Anarchy; he will also be doing the voice of Thor in God of War: Ragnarok. A few weeks ago, the actor made an appearance at Comic-Con Revolution 22 and told fans he had just finished doing the last bit of Thor for God of War: Ragnarok. When asked what the actor meant, he said he was doing some additional voice lines and pick-ups.

This is great news for fans of the 2018 title; if this voice actor just finished doing his job. This could mean we get a release date in the upcoming weeks. Fans of the game are looking for any leak or tease regarding God of War: Ragnarok‘s release and this new piece of information may get the community more hyped about the release.

All we can do now is wait for any statement from Santa Monica Studio about the release date. It has been a while since the last time they mentioned or hinted about the title, so players should keep an eye on their social media handles. If you have not played God of War yet, and you are not sure about getting it before the new release, make sure you go to our God of War review and find out if it is worth playing the game.

God of war: Ragnarok does not have a release date, but it will be available on PS4 and PS5.
