Are Resurrection Stones Worth It in God of War Ragnarok?

These existed in the first game too, but even if you were a pro in the last God of War game, Ragnarok brings an entire army of new threats that will be a challenge even for veteran players. Using a Resurrection Stone shouldn’t be seen as cheating or taking the easy way out, but rather using a tool that the game provides. Should You Buy Resurrection Stones in God of War Ragnarok?

Put simply, if you’re struggling with a challenging boss fight, then Resurrection Stones are worth it despite their high price. Even though they’ll set you back a few thousand Hacksilver, it’s not hard to stock up on that currency anyway if you sell all your artifacts and get rid of your old gear when you have the chance.

The thing is, you can’t buy Resurrection Stones for every single encounter in the game. God of War Ragnarok is meant to be a challenging adventure, especially on higher difficulty levels like Give Me God of War. A Resurrection Stone is the last resort that should only be used for bosses that you cannot beat any other way. They’re also a great way to tackle postgame bosses that are the toughest foes you’ll ever face in Ragnarok.

No matter where you use them, you have to remember that a Resurrection Stone cannot be used if you’re without a companion. If Atreus is not with Kratos at the moment because they’re separated for a story reason or any other purpose, you won’t be able to be revived.
