New reports about the upcoming Venom: The Last Dance are circulating. Some are suggesting that we may not have seen the last of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their respective Spider-Men.
While many reports say that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker could be in Venom: The Last Dance, there are not concrete details. Many insiders have said that a Spider-Man should be in that movie because Holland is rumored to get the Symbiote suit in the near future. The suit’s acquisition is speculated to happen during the next movie or from Venom, having gone to Holland’s universe for a short time. Even with these rumors, Holland is not expected to appear in Venom: The Last Dance. However, there are some rumors that this movie will set up a multiverse chain that may feature Garfield and Maguire.
Spider-Man 4 seems to be taking a more multiversal approach than its predecessor, Spider-Man: No Way Home. As more time goes on, more insiders are reporting that this won’t be a street-level movie. This suggests that a collaboration with Daredevil is unlikely, at least for now.

Knull, the powerful symbiote entity, will be wielding his All-Black sword, despite his appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder lacking the weapon. He will likely push the symbiotes to other universes, which could open the door to more multiverse adventures. Spider-Man 4 will likely feature a clash between the Spider-Men and a variety of symbiotes.
This is mostly speculation, but it’s based on a lot of reports. It is well known that Sony is putting a lot into Spider-Man, and the success of Holland with the MCU seems to prove it’s a formula that could work. Unfortunately, there have been many negative reports about the production of the movie, and we’ll have to wait and see what comes of it.
For now, we have to wait until the new Venom movie releases so we can see what they’re building up in Spider-Man 4.
