How to Complete Bound in Sorrow Week 3 Destiny 2

Destiny 2: How to Complete Bound in Sorrow Week 3 Quest

Recommended Videos

The Season of the Haunted Bound in Sorrow seasonal quest is now on Week 3 in Destiny 2. If you aren’t up to date with the quests yet, feel free to check out our Bound in Sorrow Week 1 or Week 2 quest guides. This quest guide will cover steps 15 through 20 of the Bound in Sorrow Destiny 2 quest.

How to Complete Bound in Sorrow Week 3 in Destiny 2

The steps you’ll need to complete in Week 3 aren’t too difficult and only require one or two missions to the Leviathan. While you’re there, you might want help getting Vestiges of Dread as quick as possible or knowing what the God Roll is for the gun you’re looking for.

Bound in Sorrow Step 15

The first step in Bound in Sorrow Week 3 is to Return to Eris at the Crown of Sorrow in the HELM. Simply return to the HELM and speak with Eris for the next part of Bound in Sorrow.

Bound in Sorrow Step 16

After speaking with Eris, you’ll get step 16 in Bound in Sorrow which is very similar to what you’ve completed in other weeks. Travel to Leviathan, grind out Nightmare Containments all the way through the third Tier, and use your Vestiges of Dread to create a Bound Presence at the end of the boss battle. You’ll need 500 Vestiges of Dread to do that.

Bound in Sorrow Step 17

Once step 16 is done, open your map and start the next Sever quest. Once you launch in, pull out your Ghost to know which way is the right way to go. You’ll need to travel on a narrow path by the first tree you see.

Fight through the level until you reach a jammed door. Here, you’ll need to use an item for the door to open, which you can find easily using your Ghost. Keep moving forward until you see an Egregore plant. Like in other missions, shoot the plant and you’ll be able to pass through to the next section.

In the next section, you’ll find a wrench that you can’t use because your Egregore effect has worn off. Instead of traveling back the way you came, look up towards the passage with the electrified platform. Up here, you’ll need to carefully traverse several pipes to get back to the Egregore plant. Use crouch to go slower and not fall off. Shoot the Egregore plant and get the wrench.

After the electricity has stopped thanks to the wrench, you’ll need to continue forward and follow the markers. After killing a room full of enemies, you’ll need to go up and traverse fast as the platforms will lock and unlock. Once you are in the final area, activate the ritual to start the boss battle. You’ll be able to kill it in three phases and this step will be complete.

Bound in Sorrow Step 18

Now that Sever – Grief is complete, travel to the Tower and speak to Zavala about the ritual.

Bound in Sorrow Step 19

After your chat with Zavala, head over to the HELM and talk with Eris.

Bound in Sorrow Step 20

Lastly, speak with Eris at the Crown of Sorrow. You’ll receive your rewards for completing the Bound in Sorrow Week 3 quest. Next Tuesday is when Week 4 releases, so check out our Destiny 2 guides until then.
