How to Complete the Mind Heist Triumph in Destiny 2 Duality Dungeon

Destiny 2: How to Complete the Mind Heist Triumph

Recommended Videos

One of the coolest new Triumphs to ever grace Destiny 2 is here and it is called Mind Heist. It is directly correlated to the new Duality Dungeon and is extremely cool because, unlike other Triumphs, Mind Heist will make your grind for Heartshadow a lot less… well, grind-y. Once you have collected all 12 Repressed Memories in the Duality Dungeon, you’ll have achieved the Mind Heist Triumph and the Heartshadow Exotic Sword drop rate will increase.

Duality All 12 Repressed Memory Locations

Unfortunately, to get increased Heartshadow drop rates through the Mind Heist Triumph in Destiny 2, you’ll need to find all 12 Repressed Memories hidden throughout the Duality Dungeon. After you’ve found the two secret chests in Duality, here are the locations of the 12 Repressed Memories.

Repressed Memory 1

The first Repressed Memory is found in the first massive room. Shoot the first bell in the Nightmare Realm, kill the enemies, and climb up the beams. Before you shoot the next bell, look to your right for a half-opened door. Within the room is the first Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 2

Once you are at the first Repressed Memory room, exit it and shoot the bell to switch your surroundings to the Nightmare Realm. Enter the room again to find the second Repressed Memory at the end of the hallway.

Repressed Memory 3

After continuing forward and shooting the bell across the grate to enter the Nightmare Realm, clear out the Cabal and walk to the end of the first beam you come across. Once there, jump off of the beam towards to abyss below and stop yourself with a jump. While in air, rotate around the column until you see a floating platform with a Repressed Memory on it.

Repressed Memory 4

Right before the first encounter, once you have entered the room with the blue lanterns, you’ll need to climb to the top of the central square structure. To do this, make sure to use the chandeliers, small ledges, and precise jumps. Once you are at the top, jump over to the outer lip and grab the Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 5

After the first encounter, all of the side doors open up. Make sure you are in the normal realm and go to the door with the dog icon in front of it. The fifth Repressed Memory is there.

Repressed Memory 6

Continuing on, the sixth Repressed Memory is found in the spacious room with the jump challenge. Activate the first lever to create platforms that go up and around. Activate the second lever and return to the first platform area on the other side of the room. Once you’re back on the other side, turn and scale the other jutting platforms, jump around the half pillar, and enter the room to find the Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 7

In the narrow hallway area where you need to perform a long jump to get to the other side, instead of performing the jump, just drop straight down and find the open door holding the seventh Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 8

In the first statue puzzle room, head to the room holding the first secret chest. Change the environment into the Nightmare Realm and go to that same room to find the Repressed Memory hidden behind a big column.

Repressed Memory 9

After the second encounter, left of the bell, you’ll find more of those coffin-like platforms jutting out of the walls. Scale to the top and find the ninth Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 10

In the room with the square objective covered with a white cloth, jump below it towards the purple crystal floor. Here in the center is the tenth Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 11

After progressing a bit further into the dungeon, you’ll need to shoot the bell on the other side of the room to go to the Nightmare Realm and get past the grate. Once that is done, walk along the beam and go to the right. Jump towards the center and you’ll find a closed door and some stairs leading you to the eleventh Repressed Memory.

Repressed Memory 12

The last Repressed Memory is right before the last boss fight. Before descending the pipe through the big door emitting red light, jump to the ledge at the top of the door. There you’ll find the twelfth Repressed Memory.

And with that, you’ll have unlocked the Mind Heist Triumph in Destiny 2 and have a much easier time farming for the Heartshadow Exotic Sword. For more help during Season of the Haunted, check out our Destiny 2 guides.
